Designing ground-breaking sound reinforcement solutions since 1979
NEXO has been designing ground-breaking sound reinforcement solutions at its Parisian headquarters since 1979. The company’s pioneering technology, innovative designs and sonic excellence have enhanced live events across the globe for decades, gaining the respect and trust of sound professionals everywhere.
Today, NEXO is a strategic business unit of Yamaha Corporation, a convergence of technological expertise that facilitates full integration of speaker and amplifier control, and console management of PA systems over the latest and most popular digital networking protocols.
Serving the environment
NEXO is wholly focussed on serving the environment, through the adoption of more sustainable and less polluting manufacturing processes, and through the development of systems that are ever more compact, easier to transport and less demanding to set up.
WHERE ARE WE?
All of NEXO’s loudspeaker cabinets are designed and manufactured in France, at modern purpose-built facilities just 30 km north of Paris and close to Charles de Gaulle International Airport. NEXO has also a manufacturing plant in Saint-Pierre-de-Côle. The main NEXO campus houses a highly-automated manufacturing plant, and the sales and administrative offices for the company. In a 2,000m2 dedicated R&D centre, NEXO’s acoustic design engineers bring the loudspeaker products to life.
A global network of experienced partners
From our Paris HQ, the NEXO orchestrates international export activities to over 90 countries via a loyal and long-established network of subsidiaries and distributors. Paris is also the home of our Engineering Support Division, which travels extensively around the world to support customers, train users and fine-tune installations of our equipment.
Meeting rigorous standards
The high quality of NEXO products and services is endorsed through certification and a commitment to recognized methodical processes.
ISO 9001: In 2018, we were awarded the Quality Certification ISO 9001:2015 delivered by Bureau Veritas. ISO 9001:2015 certification is an internationally recognized standard that ensures compliance with rigorous quality and safety standards.
EC DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY: Most of our products are CE marked, proving to our customers and authorities that they meet the European standards. Our outsourced components are carefully selected to meet the exacting standards we demand.
Fully certified
TÜV CERTIFICATION: Most of our products and accessories are certified TÜV NORD, a third-party organization highly recognized in the industry for testing products for safety.
IP 54 RATING: NEXO’s ID, PS, P+, GEO M and GEO S Series cabinets can be supplied IP 54 (IP55 for ID14, ePS and eLS) rated, fully complying with water-proof and dust-proof standards.
EN 54: The EN 54 standard is a mandatory and legal requirement for all components of voice alarm systems and loudspeakers within the EU. Our GEO S12, GEO S12-ST loudspeakers and ePS-EN54 Series have successfully passed the test procedures and complied with the rigorous requirements to be certified as EN 54 products.
