The jazz clarinetist from New Orleans was performing in the “Hot Jazz” series of concerts by local and international artists, fast becoming an annual tradition at the Tel Aviv Museum, and a regular user of NEXO systems.

Sound reinforcement, as always, was handled by Richard Shwartz, using a system of 6x GEO S1230 cabinets, clustered horizontally as part of a ground-stack, and supplemented by 2x flown PS15 cabinets, aimed at the top rows of the theatre.

“Despite its name, this is a traditional music venue,” explains Asaf Tzur from NEXO distributor A.B.Electronics. “It has a very natural acoustic, which was perfect for Evan Christopher. He listened hard to the system, and it was his choice to take out the subs. The result was really quiet, subtle and understated. It complemented his music perfectly, while still keeping a natural balance between the different instruments onstage.”
