NEXO GEO S12 IS ECLECTIC CHOICE FOR NEW SAKURA IN MANCHESTER

A regular supplier to Eclectic venues, SSE London has designed and installed the sound systems for Sakura, which can accommodate nearly 700 people across two floors.  Eclectic prides itself on mood management, which is especially important in a club like Sakura which stays open from midday to 4am, and the multi-zone sound design is a key element in its policy.

With the main bar and casual dining taking up the largest part of the ground floor, SSE London has fitted 4x NEXO GEO S1230 line array modules high up in the arched roof space.  These are complemented by a number of PS8 compact full-range cabinets covering the seating areas and sushi restaurant.  Discreetly hidden away, 2x NEXO RS15 bins provide the sub-bass.

Downstairs, Sakura’s Twisted Tokyo club is open six days a week.   Renowned promoters and world-class guest DJs, including resident DJs former Hed Kandi headliners David Dunne and Andy Daniels, are attracted by the high-tech vibe, with giant LED panel dancefloor, exposed brickwork and bold minimalist design.   The dancefloor system has 4x GEO S1230 loudspeakers, ceiling-mounted horizontally at four points, and 2x RS15 subs.  The DJs use PS8s for monitors, and there are an additional four PS8s to cover the seating areas.  Sakura’s decadent VIP room, The Opium Lounge, has its own PS8 system.
All power to the NEXO cabinets is supplied by NXAMP4x1 and NXAMP4x4 amplifiers with digital processors.
