A leader in down jacket sales in China for 26 consecutive years, the Bosideng brand has now become a favourite in 72 countries around the world, including the United States, France and Italy.
Believing that every important voice deserves to be heard clearly, the company recently called AV technology specialists Shanghai Huayan into its Shanghai headquarters building to propose a new sound system for the Auditor’s Office, with the aim of improving the acoustic quality of meetings, training sessions and events.
To ensure an optimal balance of high quality, full range sound with minimal visual impact, the team at Huayan opted for left and right 4-box clusters of NEXO’s ultra-compact GEO M620 line array elements, with LF extension from a pair of LS18 subs on the stage.
Constructed from a lightweight Polyurethane composite, the GEO M620 main line array modules measure just 373mm wide, weigh only 9.7kg and employ a 6.5″ long excursion driver with phase directivity device, and a 1″ throat driver on a BEA/FEA optimised HR Wavesource™. Vertical dispersion is 20° and horizontal directivity can be changed quickly, without using tools, from 80° to 120°. Integral rigging hardware with no loose parts makes it easy to quickly configure ground stacks and line arrays of various scales.
Monitoring for presenters on stage comes from 4 x NEXO P8 point source speakers and front fill duties are performed by a further 4 x NEXO ID14s, with amplification and processing for the entire system provided by 2 x NEXO NXAMP4X1 Powered TD Controllers.
