“Everyone should feel like they are being personally spoken to and the NEXO solution did just that,” said Stockton Parish Church minister Mark Miller.
“It’s important to me that the delivery of our worship services is inclusive, which is why we upgraded the sound system in the church to a NEXO line array system that would deliver the audio experience for all our attendees that we were looking for.”
Built in 1712, Stockton Parish Church in the north-east of England prides itself on being a diverse, lively and charismatic church with its attendees and community set at the heart of everything they strive to deliver, led by Minister Mark Miller. However, its sound reinforcement system didn’t deliver uniform audio throughout the listening area, and speech intelligibility was poor.
The Church approached Sound Source AV to design the right solution. Working closely with leading NEXO dealership Audiologic, Sound Source conducted a series of trials to show off the advantages of a NEXO array system. The ideal solution turned out to be two line array hangs, each with six GEO M620 cabinets, plus 2x ID24 compact cabinets as fills and LS600 subs, all powered through two NX1AMP4x1 amplifiers.
The upgrade delivered “ a well-balanced and personal audio experience for every member of the congregation” reports Jamie Harvie, owner of Sound Source AV. “Audiologic provides great advice, support and service, and their attention to detail made this project run smoothly, and the result is a great sound system and a delighted customer.”
