For more than half a century the Hammamet International Festival has taken place at the Tunisian coastal town’s breathtaking theatre overlooking the sea, designed in the Neo-Greek style and widely considered to be one of the most beautiful open-air venues on the Mediterranean.
In its 59th year, the 2025 edition of the festival attracted up to 1100 people each night proving as successful as ever thanks to the combined passion and energy of the artists, organisers, technicians and a loyal audience that returns year after year to enjoy a varied program of music, theatre and dance.
Also returning to the festival each year is Tunis-based event services company Sybel, bringing more than 30 years of live sound experience along with a NEXO sound system to ensure that the festival continues to enjoy pristine sound with consistent audience coverage for every type of performance.
The main FOH system comprises left and right hangs of 5 x GEO S1210 line array cabinets with a more steeply angled GEO S1230 on the bottom as a down fill.
Pairs of NEXO RS15 and LS18 subs extend the low frequency response and 6 of NEXO’s ultra-compact ID24s supplemented by 2 x IDS110 subs fill in the areas immediately in front of the stage.
A single NEXO NUAR rack provides amplification and processing for the main line arrays, with an additional NEXO NXAMP4X4 for the subs and 4X1 for the front fills.
NEXO PS15s mounted on LS1200 subs perform efficiently as side fills, powered separately by NEXO DTD/DTDAMPs.
A versatile stage monitoring pack comprises 14 x NEXO PS15R2 cabinets and 4 x P15s from NEXO’s latest P+ Series point source range. A separate rack of 6 x NXAMP4X2MK2s delivers amplification and processing for the monitors and completes an all-NEXO system, both on stage and FOH.
