The 800-capacity church is one of the biggest in the city. Previously, the church depended on an audio solution provided by a local company, but after hearing a NEXO system in use by Delta Sound, an Aizwal rental house, it took the decision to go for a significant technological upgrade.
NEXO’s Indian distributor SunInfonet, together with its business associate Delta Sound Aizwal, put together a design proposal using 8x GEO S12 cabinets, powered by NEXO NXAMP4x4 amplifiers. As this was to be the first NEXO installation in Mizoram state, SunInfonet technical specialist Shiraz Bhardwaj was joined by two members of the NEXO Asia team, Nicolas Kirsch and Scott Mason, who arrived in person to provide the fine tuning and adjustments of the system. The whole project was completed within two weeks.
From SunInfonet, Neeraj Chandratells us that the Zarkawt Church sound committee is extremely satisfied with the results, as is the supplier of the equipment, Mr C.L.Para of Delta Sound, who has gone onto other NEXO projects as a consequence of this installation. “It is a perfect showcase – a good technical installation, and a successful partner between manufacturer, distributor and project integrator.”
