48x GEO D10? Well, this is the most important football event in Latin America. And the oldest international continental competition, which, in its current format, involves twelve teams competing in the host nation over a period of 4 weeks.
Cadahia Sistemas designed a sound solution to handle the games in the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes in Cordoba which used a total of 12x stacked clusters, each with 4x GEO D10 cabinets. Subequently, this same system was used in the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires, host of the cup final. The main controllers were NEXO NX-242, and the system was powered by CAMCO Vortex 200 amplifiers.
Tournament organisers were delighted with the sonic performance of Cadahia’s GEO D system, and also with the aesthetic ‘look’ of the D10 stacks. Uruguay went on to defeat Paraguay 3-0 and win a record 15th Championship title.
