Every two years, sound, lighting and production specialist West Évènement stages an open day which allows its partners, clients and business associates a chance to get together and explore new developments. Here, in an atmosphere of hospitality and professionality, participants give presentations and provide training for the other guests, bringing them up to date on new technology and services.
NEXO’s commercial director Jean Jacques Vias, together with concert sound specialist Val Gilbert, presented two workshops. One was devoted to the entire NEXO range, the other specifically focused on the NS-1 configuration and simulation tool, and the NeMo remote monitoring app for iPad and iPhone. These workshops were rounded off with presentations and demonstrations of the STM and GEO S12 systems, using the new generation of presets, including FIR filtering. The demonstrations of these features engaged the entire audience and proved that NEXO has moved to another level.
During the day, more than 120 people took part in different workshops in a spirit of true conviviality and exchange of ideas, creating an experience which will doubtless be repeated again. Rounding off the day’s proceedings, around 300 people gathered in the hall for aperitifs, and clients and industry participants enjoyed a concert put on by West Évènement’s specialist teams. As the company is able to provide all technical services, the concert was staged as a large-scale event, with sound reinforcement provided by the latest products from Yamaha and NEXO.
