Visitors to the covered market at La Communale, Halle Gourmande in the north Paris suburb of Saint Ouen will discover a vast, 13,000 m² space dedicated to gastronomy and culture with a daily market and gourmet kiosks serving local and international cuisine, alongside a carefully curated soundtrack delivered by 31 of NEXO’s compact ID24 speakers supplemented by IDS108 and IDS110 subs from the same range.
Seven hundred kilometres south, the Halles de Béziers was built in 1891 and reopened in September 2024 following renovation, now housing around twenty independent traders, caterers, and restaurateurs, welcoming visitors from morning to night to shop, have a coffee, or enjoy a bite to eat.
Dushow’s ID Series installation at the Béziers Market Halls centres on 56 of the ultra-compact ID14s, supplemented by 5 x ID84 column speakers and a pair of IDS108 subs, with the entire system powered by just 5 NEXO NXAMP4X1Mk2 Powered TD Controllers.
All cabinets are finished in a custom RAL colour, with architects insistent that that the sound system should make the lowest possible visual impact in such a historic listed building.
