NEXO has a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our team as Engineering Support Manager based in UK (home office and visits to UK contacts). This role will also require you to travel up to 50% of your time worldwide.
Your mission:
You will be principally responsible to develop and maintain our pull through process with key prescribers consisting of Sound & System Engineers / Consultants / Engineering offices. You will be actively driving and managing these pre-sales advocacy activities, by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the key technical influencers for all our Installed sound and Touring/rental sound applications. To turn them into true NEXO brand advocates, you must be able to identify some of the major Sound & System Engineers, Consultants and Engineering companies and to ensure a regular monitoring of their projects and issues, in close and strong connection with our ES Division, Sales & Marketing Division, R&D Division, as well as with our main Distributors worldwide.
Another important aspect of the position will be to be a privileged interlocutor with the parent company Yamaha and its subsidiaries for the promotion of joint technical solutions such as Sound xR installations, ProVisionaire suite or NS1 design software, or the joint organization of events such as the Systems Design Conferences.
Finally, the versatility of each member of the ES Division being one of its strengths as well as a form of work organization contributing to an enlarged and enriched professional function, you will be required to participate in other pre and post-sales support activities of the ES Division such as case study files, technical documentation, live demos, Audioversity courses or on-hand trainings, trade shows, hot-line or hot flights.
Your main responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing high technical presentations and/or discussions with key influencers (Sound & System Engineers, Consultants and Engineering offices).
- Responsible for monitoring regular interactions between key influencers and NEXO.
- Responsible for presenting the NEXO systems offer to key influencers at NEXO headquarters and locally and also at field events such as conferences, seminars, trade shows, training etc. Develop and execute specific advocacy plan for key areas and/or key applications.
- Identify and cultivate strategic relationships at all levels of Consultants and Engineering offices organization.
- Identify and develop winning strategies that will drive NEXO brand awareness and recognition.
- Integrate and work with other ES team members and other NEXO Divisions.
- Maintain accountability for CRM software targets (specifically, with the registration and maintenance of key contacts, opportunities and targeted projects and visits reports).
- Understand, and organize internal consistent feedback from the field about influencers expectations/requirements.
About you:
- You must possess in-depth industry, technical and business process knowledge.
- You need to be able to respond to functional and technical elements in the Commercial Audio environment.
- Be able and like to travel throughout the planet.
- Good computer literacy to enable opportunity capture and project follow up on NEXO CRM “Pipedrive” platform.
- More than 10 years’ working experience with deep knowledge and background in Commercial Audio technical support management.
- Possess effective communication, interpersonal and initiative-taking with pleasant and outgoing personality.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken, other languages are an asset.
- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, Excel, Word, social media. Driving license.
