Soon after receiving official appointment by Audio Solutions as NEXO’s strategic audio partner in Southern Malaysia, Johor Bahru-based AV technology specialists Audience Lab have completed the installation of a NEXO ePS sound system for Hype Clothing Co at the popular retailer’s prestigious new Carnival Mall store in Seberang Perai, Penang.
Founded in Malaysia in 2012, Hype is known for its innovative approach, drawing inspiration from classic modern American subculture spanning music, fashion and sport, speaking to fashion-forward individuals who embrace streetwear as a form of self-expression.
So, naturally, a cool playlist delivered by a potent sound system is a big part of the experience for visitors to a Hype store. And for the team at Audience Lab, that meant NEXO ePS.
“Designed to complement the store’s modern architecture and elevate the customer experience, NEXO ePS delivers exceptional clarity, consistency and immersive sound throughout the space” reports Audience Lab Managing Director Shao Ming Teo.
The system at the Hype store in Carnival Mall comprises 6 x NEXO ePS8, one on each of 4 channels of a NEXO nanoNXAMP4 Powered TD Controller, and one on each of 2 channels of a NEXO NXAMP4X1Mk2, the remaining 2 channels of which each power a NEXO eLS600 sub.
Outputs from a WiiM Ultra Music Streamer, Relacart P2 Wireless Microphone System and AlphaTheta Pioneer XDJ-AZ DJ System are accommodated by a Yamaha MG10XU 10-channel mixing console.
