The name was inspired by the time of prohibition in the USA in the 1930s of the USA. While alcohol was prohibited, many bars were named as hotels to disguise their true identity and purpose. For the Hotel Rivington & Sons, the authenticity stretches to an interior that has been brought directly from America – the counter was used for over 80 years in a bar in New York.
Constructed over two levels, it is planned to hold exclusive concerts on the upper floor. Installation company Baranday AG of Zurich has chosen PS8s for the background music provision in the bar areas on the lower level and a PS-10R2 system with additional PS8s for the concert stage upstairs.
System designed and supplied by ZAP Audio, NEXO distributors in Switzerland.
