The “Father of Techno”, WESTBAM, was one of the main acts in the Laserdome Dance Area, celebrating his new Record “Götterstrasse”, followed by ATB and SHOWTEK. The Laserdome was equipped with NEXO Geo S12 Arrays, consisting of 12x modules in each and 16x NEXO CD18 subs. Stacks of NEXO Alpha E and PS 15 were used as monitoring and fill systems.
The two main hangs were driven by NEXO NX AMPS 4×4, using a complete Ethersound network and a YAMAHA CL5 Console, controlled with LAKE MY8 Card. All equipment was provided by SHOWEM.
The sound was simulated by engineer Carsten Schellin using NEXOSoft. The complete set was rigged in under 9 hours and delivered the predicted result, a warm but tight sound. With the use of turntables, the NEXO CD 18 is always a good bass cabinet choice, eliminating mechanical feedbacks.
